Experimenting with printmaking techniques, pastel, and collage, I layered both the intentional and the unintended. I created abstract shapes and paired them with sections of the butcher paper used to protect the table from ink. Here, I wanted to explore shapes that seem to be in a state of change. These works contain architectural qualities, while remaining dreamlike. These works combine conscious choices and subconscious spontaneity.
