Using similar materials used in my Shadows series, I used chalk pastel to create different marks on the paper. I then layered a sheet of transparency on top and traced the different marks I made using POSCA paint pens. I added another layer in between the two created from watercolor on transparency. The combination of layers, textures, and colors creates images that look almost like stone or images of the planet taken from a satellite.
